Small industrial arm "Torobo Arm IM"
The main robot for this exhibition, a small humanoid "Torobo," can perform external force following softly by using torque sensors and joint-level torque control. On the site, you can touch the robot directly and feel its softness. We will also conduct demos of Torobo Arm (a torque-controlled robotic arm for research) and its small industrial version, Torobo Arm IM. In addition, we show a demo of random picking with a deep learning technique.
